Invictus Innovations Achieves Defence Cyber Certification Level 0
Invictus Innovations is pleased to announce that we have achieved Defence Cyber Certification (DCC) Level 0, further strengthening our commitment to cyber security, resilience and trusted delivery across the UK Defence supply chain.
The achievement builds on our existing Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications and represents another important step in strengthening the assurance that underpins how we operate and deliver services.
Supporting trusted delivery in Defence
Cyber security and resilience are increasingly important across the Defence supply chain. For organisations supporting Defence transformation, integration and digital services, this extends beyond protecting individual devices or systems. It requires appropriate governance, resilient ways of working and the ability to protect the information and services on which customers and partners depend.
DCC provides a Defence-specific approach to assessing these capabilities.
Achieving DCC Level 0 provides independent assurance against the baseline requirements of the Defence Cyber Certification scheme, including Cyber Essentials, data protection and organisational cyber resilience.
For Invictus Innovations, the certification provides further assurance to customers and partners that cyber security and resilience are embedded within the way we operate.
Building on Cyber Essentials Plus
DCC Level 0 follows Invictus Innovations' recent achievement of Cyber Essentials Plus, which independently verified the technical cyber security controls protecting our business environment.
Together, these certifications demonstrate an increasingly mature approach to security and resilience encompassing areas such as:
secure identity and access management;
endpoint and information protection;
cyber security governance;
data protection;
business continuity and recovery;
cyber resilience assessment and testing; and
ongoing review and improvement.
Rather than treating certification as a standalone compliance exercise, we have used the process to strengthen the underlying controls, governance and resilience of the business.
Preparing for the future
Our work increasingly supports complex Defence and Public Sector environments where customers need confidence not only in the expertise of their suppliers, but also in how those suppliers manage security, risk and operational resilience.
DCC Level 0 forms part of Invictus Innovations' wider investment in the standards, assurance and capabilities needed to support that responsibility.
