Commitment to the Governments Social Value Mission

At Invictus Innovations, we recognise that digital transformation must create opportunity — not just capability.

We support the Government’s Social Value Mission to break down barriers to opportunity, aligned to Policy Outcomes 6 and 7.

Our focus is practical, skills-based and community-oriented.

Raising Awareness of Digital Career Pathways

We are committed to outreach activities that increase awareness of careers within:

  • Digital transformation and cloud services

  • SIAM and system integration

  • Architecture and cyber security

  • Business analysis and programme delivery

  • Service transition and procurement

We will support promotional and engagement activities through:

  • Engagement with local Job Centre Plus offices and DWP networks

  • Collaboration with schools, colleges and universities

  • Community-based awareness sessions

  • Online career insight events

Our aim is to make public sector digital careers visible and accessible to individuals who may not traditionally see themselves represented in the technology sector.

Understanding Barriers to Entry

We recognise that many individuals face structural barriers to entering digital and transformation roles, including:

  • Lack of awareness of career routes

  • Limited professional networks or mentoring

  • Financial or childcare constraints

  • Health conditions or long-term unemployment

  • Lack of confidence in navigating public sector processes

As an SME operating within public sector delivery environments, we understand the practical requirements of digital programmes — and the challenges individuals face in accessing them.

Supporting Skills Development and Entry Pathways

To support Policy Outcome 7, we will:

  • Offer mentoring to individuals exploring digital careers

  • Provide guidance on skills aligned to DDaT and service delivery roles

  • Support awareness of public sector procurement and transition roles

  • Contribute to outreach sessions suited to school leavers and early career entrants

  • Provide practical career guidance materials

Where appropriate, we will explore working with:

  • Local Job Centre Plus offices

  • DWP initiatives

  • Schools and colleges

  • Community and voluntary organisations

Our outreach activities will be tailored to the needs of the target cohort.

Organisational Readiness

Invictus Innovations has appointed a dedicated Social Value Lead to oversee delivery and reporting of our commitments:

Farah Javed
Head of Production and Social Value

This ensures accountability, governance and measurable delivery of our commitments under G-Cloud 15.

A Practical SME Approach

As a specialist SME, we focus on delivering realistic, targeted and sustainable initiatives aligned to our expertise in:

  • Digital and cloud transformation

  • Service integration and architecture

  • Procurement and transition delivery

Our aim is not to overpromise, but to contribute meaningfully — creating visibility, access and pathways into the digital workforce.
